  • Will tickets be available at the door?
    Yes, tickets will be able for purchase at the door.
  • Can children attend G-FEST alone?
    Persons ages 0-12 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian over the age of 18 at all times. The parent or legal guardian must have a valid general admission pass to the event.
  • What is the age limit for a child pass?
    Kid's passes are for children 12 and under at the time of the event. If your child is 12 when you purchase tickets, but will be 13 at the time of the convention, you must purchase an adult pass.
  • When will tickets be available?
    Tickets will go on sale December 1st, make sure you're subscribed to the newsletter or checking on our socials for updates. We will send out plenty of communication leading up to tickets being released.
  • How much are tickets?
    Weekend Pass (Early Bird): $65 for adults, $45 for children VIP Passes: $225 Adult Day Passes: $30–$40 Kid Day Passes: $20–$25 Please note: Prices will increase closer to the convention date. Fees are not included in the prices above.
  • What is included in a VIP pass?

  • Are there special hotel rates for G-FESTers?
    Yes! We have partnered with great hotels that offer convention goers a discounted nightly rate. You can find more information about each hotel here.
  • Whats the deal with parking?
    The Hyatt Regency O'Hare offers a discounted rate of $20/day for G-FEST attendees. You can validate your parking pass at the G-FEST registration desk each day of the convention (Friday,Saturday,Sunday).
  • What is the closest airport to the convention?
    O'Hare airport is just a short drive away from the hotel. This is the most convenient airport to fly in to.
  • How do I get from O'Hare airport to the Hyatt?
    The Hyatt Regency O'Hare offers free airport shuttle. Available 24 hours Every 15 minutes between the following times: 4:00AM-12:00AM Every 30 minutes between the following times: 12:00AM-4:00AM Terminal 1-3: Shuttle picks up outside Door 1 of the Bus and Shuttle Center Terminal 5 and International Flights: Shuttle picks up outside of Door 5E
  • Where can I pick up my pass?
    Passes are NOT mailed out. You must pick up your pass from the registration desk at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare. The registration desk is located on the ground floor of the hotel.
  • When can I pick up my pass?
    Thursday 1:30PM-5:30PM (pre registered only) Friday 9AM-5PM Saturday 9AM-5PM Sunday. 9AM-4PM
  • Can I purchase a pass in person on Thursday?
    No. Pre registered convention goers are able to pick up their passes on Thursday, there will be no ticket sales.
  • Do I need photo ID to pick up my pass?
    Yes, you must present official photo ID to pick up your pass.
  • Can I pick up passes for other people?
    No, you can only pick up your own pass. The only exception to this is if you’re the parent or legal guardian and you’re picking up on behalf of your children for the Child Pass.
  • What is your refund policy?
    Tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE & NOT TRANSFERABLE. All sales are final.
  • Can I sell my pass to someone else?
    Tickets are NOT transferable, photo ID matching your ticket must be presented to pick up your pass.
  • What happens if I lose my pass?
    Always check at the registration desk for lost items first - if it hasn't been turned it you will need to purchase a new pass.
  • Where can I see the schedule?
    The schedule of events will be release closer to the convention!
  • Do I need to bring cash?
    While some vendors do accept credit and debit cards, not all of them do. Bringing cash is a good idea to ensure you can make purchases from all vendors without any issues.
  • Where's the nearest ATM?
    There are two ATMs located at the entrance of the hotel, ensuring easy access to cash if needed. However, please note that these ATMs often run out of cash at some point during the weekend, so it's a good idea to bring sufficient cash with you.
  • If the ATMs in the hotel run out of cash, where can I go to get cash?
    If the ATMs at the hotel are out of cash, you can visit the Rosemont Convention Center across the street. Additionally, there are several hotels in the area, that have ATMs available for use.
  • Is there a bag policy?
    General Rules All weapons, including firearms, knives, and any other items that could be used as weapons, are strictly prohibited, as are illegal substances of any kind. While we encourage attendees to minimize the number of items they bring, we currently do not have specific size restrictions. However, we reserve the right to inspect all bags and deny entry to those with oversized bags if deemed necessary for safety and logistical reasons. All bags are subject to inspection upon entry, and attendees should be prepared to open their bags and allow security personnel to conduct a thorough check. In addition to weapons and illegal substances, sharp objects (e.g., scissors, razors), flammable materials (e.g., fireworks, aerosol cans), alcoholic beverages, and non-prescription drugs are prohibited. Please note that there is no bag check service available at the event, so attendees are responsible for their belongings at all times. We recommend bringing only essential items to avoid inconvenience. Keep personal belongings, including electronics and valuables, with you at all times, as the event organizers and hotel management are not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Attendees are expected to cooperate with security personnel at all times, and non-compliance may result in denial of entry or removal from the event.   • What is the Pickwick Theatre Film Festival?
    The Pickwick Theatre Film Festival is an exciting part of G-FEST, featuring a selection of films on the Thursday before the convention. It's a great way to kick off the weekend and enjoy some beloved movies with your fellow G-FESTers.
  • How can I purchase tickets for the films at the Pickwick Theatre?
    Tickets for the films at the Pickwick Theatre are sold through the theatre, either in person or online. They are not available through the convention. Be sure to visit the Pickwick Theatre's website or box office to secure your tickets.
  • Where is the Pickwick Theatre located?
    The Pickwick Theatre is located at 5 S Prospect Ave , Park Ridge, Illinois 60068. It’s a historic venue known for its beautiful architecture and great movie-going experience.
  • What movies are being shown at the Pickwick Theatre Film Festival?

  • Is transportation provided to the Pickwick Theatre?
    No, the convention does not provide transportation to the Pickwick Theatre. Attendees will need to arrange their own transportation to and from the theatre.
